Today, branded audio is a fixture of the automotive industry, but in the late 20th century, the idea was still in its infancy. Bringing a recognizable, high-end audio brand into the cabin was a pioneering concept, promising not only better sound, but also a new layer of luxury and identity for automakers to market.
